U21 Football

Thurles Gaels Moyne Templetouthy were defeated by Gortnahoe in the final of the Mid u21 B football on Sunday last in Templemore on a 3-10 to 3-6 score line. The team got off to a slow start and found themselves ten points down mid way through the first half but plucky determination reduced the score to two points ten minutes into the second. However the effort was prove too much and Gortnahoe got the crucial scores to seal the win. Curtis Ryan, Paul Murphy, Daniel Shaughnessy were best on the day. Next up for this group will be the hurling championship.
